OVERDRIVE Posted January 31, 2022 Share Seeing a lot of Cape Epic entires flying around, maybe if they fell into one category it would help. Have put a few together below. Remember, due dilligence to avoid buying from someone on an oil rig hunting sharks with a fork. https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190759-entry-cape-epic-2022for-sale/ https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190725-entry-cape-epic-2022for-sale/#comment-3853682 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190753-two-team-entries-for-sale-at-discount-price-negotiable/#comment-3854335 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190682-selling-team-entry-cape-epic-2022/#comment-3852818 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190672-cape-epic-2022-team-entry-for-sale/#comment-3852546 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190643-cape-epic-team-entry-2022-for-sale/#comment-3852089 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190697-selling-team-entry-2022/#comment-3853127 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190582-real-entry-2022-absa-cape-epic-team-code-ce22-pui433-for-sale/#comment-3850709 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190580-absa-cape-epic-entry-2022-incl-3-pre-and-1-post-night-if-needed-5000usd-mtmatecdk/#comment-3850638 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190566-international-ticket-for-cape-epic-2022-for-sale/#comment-3850239 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190495-2022-absa-cape-epic-team-entry-for-sale/#comment-3848721 https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/190108-2022-cape-epic-team-entry-for-sale/#comment-3837637

ChrisF Posted February 1, 2022 Share Nick how would Bike Hub Pay work for something like this ? PS - a friend bought a bike two weeks ago using Hub Pay, worked VERY well !! When the courier was running late and the seller out of contact for a few hours the peace of mind from Hub Pay prevented a "melt down". Turns out the bike was delivered on time, and both parties are happy. Matt, Nick and OVERDRIVE

We are due to include a custom "Entries" workflow for deals which follows the same flow, but the language / instructions along the way will of course differ for an event entry vs. physical goods. Most entry substitutions require action from the seller to authorise it with the event / entry company which is where the risk comes in for the buyer. Using Bike Hub Pay the parties would agree on the deal, buyer pays us, seller completes the transfer admin, buyer accepts deal once transfer confirmed, Bike Hub pays the seller. NB: Only suitable for events where substitution is allowed PS - glad to hear the good feedback, thanks OVERDRIVE and ChrisF

Francois Pienaar Posted February 25, 2022 Share Quite a few people have picked up injuries and then it seems like some people are struggling to travel. This race, yoh, it requires so much good fortune to not only arrive in one piece but also finish it. ChrisF and OVERDRIVE

Stevecalland Posted March 17, 2022 Share Thanks. Been told to visit the rider questions area on Sat. My partner tested positive the day before our flight from the Uk. Ideally looking for someone around the 4.3-4.8 W/kg FTP but obviously understand that’s not a true indication of ability over 8 days on a Mtb.
