Tumbleweed Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 finished manuela ronchi's "man on the run: the life and death of marco pantani" - which my mate wolfie kindly loaned me - a while back, and i've been meaning to post here to ask wht do you think about her? can't decide if she was genuinely interested in marco the man or marco the pay cheque. what do you think?
Tumbleweed Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 he is a Pizza Pasta Retailer from Benoni and he was a local hero until his downfall at the regional tagliatelle champs when he tested positive for performance-enhancing pesto. he was found dead in the idlewinds trailer park. he is sorely missed.

It is no doubt she is a hard nosed business person, one would expect no less in the cut throat (sometimes literally) world of Italian sport. I do get the impression she genuinely cared for the guy, however we should never forget he was her meal ticket too.
