Ah this is good to know thanks, means it’s more tuneable if a little more active than previous Monarch designs. Thanks for the heads up

That was my thought too.

Oddly, when I inquired on the SIDLuxe with Vorsprung, they told me it was not tunable at all. Might be different if they go back to the factory? I own the SIDLuxe and it is by far the least user tunable shock I have owned as well - only a rebound adjuster, and the range is so wide, only about 2 clicks of 11 are actually usable.

The Deluxe actually has low speed compression adjustment as well. I don't know if the rebound range is as broad, but I was contemplating buying to to see if it was a little more tunable than the SIDLuxe.

RockShox just released their 2023 range today as well, so who knows what changes were made to the Deluxe!

When I did training on the SIDLuxe the tech said the LSC , had and rebound are all tuneable either via CCS or a tuning shop or RS. The units shipped on the Titan Racing Cypjer appear to have a more sensitive rebound with the last 4 to 5 clicks actually sliding something. However it’s still faster than a Fox DPS at mid point and one has to ride the bike and push it to feel the difference in rebound settings.

The cypher pro already comes with a sidluxe select+, so if you want to upgrade, I reccomend the sidluxe ultimate.

they are identical , Select+ is only OEM and Ultimate can be bought aftermarket

Hello,

can anyone shed some light on the decision between the new float sl and the new sidluxe a2? Reliability wise mostly. Performance is secondary.

Thanks a lot!
