For what purpose, i.e. road, gravel, easy trails, or the stuff where he needs a full suspension ?

 

 

Just normal Saturday rides ?  ANY chance of joining longer events where he may want to swop out batteries ??

Hey Chris, easy trails, gravel and mostly casual riding - nothing too hectic. Classic ballie riding.

A hardtail with nice 2.6 or even 2.8 tyres may work for this use.  A LOT cheaper than decent full suspension options !!

 

If he wants to go full suspension, or even for hardtail options, do yourself a favour and look here -

I am VERY happy with my Darrvin hardtail which I use as my road bike and commuter.

 

Then again .... I LOVE the trails on my Giant Trance E.

 

 

Gert did offer me a test ride on the new Darrvin full suspension .... might have caused an itch ....
