I have never imported wheels, there are some good deals on Chain reaction. what is the import duty on the wheels? e.g. Prime 50mm wheelset works out to be approx R6500, I think without VAT? Last time I paid, the 15% vat + R350 HDL handling fee, Prime wheels were very good until I hit a pothole. DieselnDust Posted December 1, 2022 Share The other option is to contact LookCycleSA and order a pair of Corima Rims. When Complete Cyclist was the distributor for Corima I got a set of rims through them. It took about 3months (and they gave me a loaner set of wheels while I waited!!) to arrive and I had William's Bike Shop build them for me. Those wheel shave been trouble free. Corima is definitely a good option. You will wait but https://lookcyclesa.co.za/Â are the guys to talk. Eagle Canyon Cycles are retailers for Look so maybe try them also.
