Replacing a rear brake hose

I have read this three times now and it seems like we're saying he should flush the hose then all will ne fine ( which it will) BUT he said just above he got Guide R's which he wants to fit

It is internal routed so he's going to have to cut the rear in any way. So flushing the existing hose and fitting it with the SRAM fittings will be the least hassle

Wrt pictures , are you referring to the Deore system or the Guided R ? 

Whichever one is going on your bike 

 

1st prize would be to go to A shop and ask them to expressly explain what needs to be done and why(exactly) every part needs to go where and which parts can work with each other and which can't

I assume you are based in PTA so you're more than welcome to bring the bike to me. I will help you to finish it up and also give you how to DIY. I do have all the tools and some parts 😋.
