Ask Burry Stander what he thinks on the subject. And look at which bike has the better results on the racing circuit aswell

As the very famous Lance Armstrong said and I quote, " It is not about the bike!'Big%20smile

I like the Stevens Pure Cyclonograpghy!!!!(PornStar)

Any bike as long as it is not carbon. If you have to be a ponce then take the one that is at least painted. Get a Raleigh and save some money.

Stevens has left the building. Friday the 11th. Pitty, they made some great bikes.

Buy a Raleigh as long as it's not carbon, otherwise you'll be fine. I have plenty of friends with carbon MTB's and they haven't had any issues. I'm on a carbon Ibis Mojo SL now...let's see how it holds up.

Wazza: if you're looking for white rims PM MTB Kid or get in touch with Two Wheels Trading. They import white TEK rims. Killer looking.

Definately the Gt. The stevens might look cool but the gt will beat it on performance. Test rode the specialized s works, Merida team and the GT. Gt were jsut so much more responsive...

I'm not getting at iyou, but I'm not sure what you mean by 'responsive'. Responsiveness will be determined by your bike set up (eg stem length, bar height, etc) and not by the quality of the frame. I haven't checked but I think all the frames that you have mentioned would have the same head tube angle.

If you mean that the frame is stiffer, I doubt that this could be determined outside of a lab given the high stiffness of carbon generally.

Dont go STEVENS' date=' Ive been told they have pulled out of the country.....................................NO SUPPORT [/quote']

Just done a search for Stevens dealers in SA and there are 16 dealers in SA most provinces are covered.

Importers are a company called Faro Sports if memory serves me correctly and they are in Cape Town.

Was looking at getting a Stevens bike and spoke to a dealer in Cape Town and he told me that Stevens has pulled out of the country. They sent all the stock they had back to Joburg and all that stock is on its way to Germany.
