Sid Select clicking sound

I have RS Sid Select 35 which makes a weird clicking sound. It occurs after the at the top of the compression stroke after the rebound has pushed the fork to the top, if that makes sense? Anyone have a similar issue or know what the issue could be?

Take the fork off the bike completely and the remote if applicablble 

 

then support it on something soft while checking you're not pressing on the rebound adjuster itself

 

then give it a few quick compressions with your hands around the damper and airspring caps.

 

if it suddenly doesn't make the sound its probably the bike

 

possibly also crown creaks but these fork seem to have all been sorted by now

I Stan people who can take apart a bike like that with confidence. So scared I’ll cock something up I go to LBS 🤦🏾‍♂️

Could be many things - if it is the fork you'll need to drop lowers to find out whether it's spring, damper or CSU.

From the way you describe it I'd guess damper, when last was it serviced?

Was serviced after Trans Baviaans last year by RBC. Only done about 1500km since then.
