Garmin SA support response times

My limited experience with Garmin has been an absolute shocker. Got a VivoActive about 4 months ago. Thing stop working 5th December and took it back to Sportsmans where the lady laughed and said she had a lot that hadn't been sent off and they were not promising anyone to look at them until after 15th January. It was rooted, wouldn't really charge, the touch screen wasn't working at all and the display kept glitching. The lady at Sportmans said she'd seen a lot like that and they just replace them. I finally got a new watch back Yesterday, without the charger. Now I have to wait for that to arrive or buy a new one. Less than stellar.

Thanks. Finally got through on the support hotline. Couriered the watch on Friday.
FYI: none of the emails I sent last week was replied to, except the product.support@garmin one. That was after I already couriered it.
Now we wait...

First, please accept our apologies for not answering your email in the time we quoted on our website. Due to an unforeseeable high volume of emails and calls we’ve received this has led to a backlog, which we’ve been working hard to restore to our usual service levels.

I finally got a response from an email I sent on 8th of Jan to them, seems they had a big backlog of support.

They are bloody useless.

Dropped my HR monitor off with them on 15 Nov 2023 for assessment/repairs as was faulty.

Was told I would receive a SMS with the diagnoses and the applicable resolution.

Crickets.

Get a courier delivery early Feb 2024 with a new HR belt and sensor and invoice for R1500 (WTF)

Needless to say, no monies have been paid and now have a spare after having bought a new one in December last year.
