Great photos Cruxie !

Well done & good luck I-Fly

For those that are interested, Capestorm in Bryanston will be hosting a talk on the Epic on the 14th November:

CAPESTORM General Manager Malcolm Loos and his riding partner Mark Rickard completed this year's Cape Epic.

Join Malcolm as he takes you through the preparation for the race, the many hours spent tuning bodies and brains to the challenge. Follow their race as seen through CAPESTORM's on course photographer as they tackle the mud, mountains and mind games that make up this, the ultimate MTB challenge.

Malcolm will also cover the many aspects associated with the event,

training, nutrition and equipment. This presentation is designed to give

people an insight into the event and to give prospective riders some tips

and pointers. However, the images from the race will make it a must see for all riders.

As with previous events seats will be on a first come, first served basis.

Please RSVP by clicking the 'Book Now!' button to the right or email

bryanston@capestorm.co.za and specify the number of places required. Seats are limited. Note: entry is FREE

Date and Time: Tuesday 14th November, 6.30pm for 7pm (drinks and snacks will be available).

Venue: CAPESTORM Bryanston Store, Shop 5, Carvenience Centre, Corner William Nichol and Grosvenor, Bryanston, Johannesburg.

Are you taking your 'toyboy' again or do you have a real partner?!

Toyboy has retired from cycling - he had an unhappy ride last year because of sore knees and saddles sores.

My 07 partner is the "psyco chick from hell" who rides a tandam at MTB races and edits a cycling mag.

My multi day races  partner listing would make an interesting case study for a bored shrink.

1.Middle aged yuppie - who owns every cycling gadget available and knows how to use them

2.Toyboy race snake - a big hit with the food stall women in the finishing towns of Epic stages

3.Gay pensioner - who is as tough as nails ( real nails not the kind one gets at beauty saloons)

4. Psyco jock chick - who has more degrees than some of us have fingers.
