Will the crankset work?

Hi all,

I have a Merida 120 700 with a Shimano bottom bracket MT500 and race face aeffect crank, i need to buy a new chainring which would cost R1000 but see Cycle lab have a sale on a Shimano Deore M6100 12spd 32t Mtb Crank for R1000, would it fit? And can i just replace it without any bike specific tools and only Allen keys from what i can see?

Bike addict has CSixx Cinch 32T chainrings for R790, for RaceFace cranks.

But yes the shimano crank should work as a straight fit

You can get 1x chainrings that will fit your crank for WAY less than R1000.

I got a 32h 104BCD narrow-wide chainring for my son's bike for under R300.
