Mailing them directly may just be your best bet.

Dont seem to find it anywhere either but this is not unsual right up until the events themselves start marketing the events as part of the XCM series.

Is the Banhoek XCM on the 25th not part of the WC series? I am sure I remember it previously being one, or maybe it was a national event series race - but see this year it isn’t even CSA sanctioned?

I Sam. Yes that is my problem and why Im looking for the calender. Last year the Attakwas was part of the WC series and the previous year it was Banhoek.

Atta is next weekend already. I need to do my planning for the month. 😉

Ya, CSA & WP Cycling being their usual efficient selves again.

I entered Bankhoek assuming it was a provincial or national series points event… as it was previously, but now it’s not even a sanctioned event (at least not according to CSA website). I am hoping to try qualify for age group colours this year and maybe even qualify for worlds, so would also not mind seeing the actual calendar. Also riding Epic, so need to pick events between now and March carefully to fit into training regime

Attakwas is not part of the WP XCM series this year. And neither is Banhoek AFAIK,

Is there even any XCM races on the calendar? Not really interested in entire series but just individual races to pick and choose from...

ya ya look they (WPMTB) always partner with event organisers to put a series together. It not like the XCO series where they just arrange with the venue.

The season typically runs after the WPMTB XCO season has concluded, so usually May through to October with WPMTB prize giving in early November. It's a heck of a lot of work to get the XCM series together simutaneously with the XCO so they tend to stagger it. Last year WPMTB included Attakwas in the XCM season, but there was a big gap to the next event in the season. I suspect we will only hear what the 2025 XCM season will look like in February with first event in May or June again.
