Good morning neighbors!!

I've got a monarch rt3 that just won't release past 20%, took the rear shock out, release all the air in it, cycled it, pumped up again, did it a few times, just goes back to 20% on the measurements on the shock, if I pull it with no air in, it release all the way like it should, even went up to 260psi, stays on 20%, what could be the issue?

Best regards

As per previous posts: It's called "stuck down".

If you're in Joburg get the best suspension service from Jakes at Shockingly Good Bicycle Service:

Service should sort it no problem. Air is likely getting past the seal into the negative air chamber.

@droo with Stoke suspension works in CT or RBC in PE are also options.

Price will depend on cost of service kit. Keep up you service intervals and it will save you in the long term.

The shock was actually serviced in Jan by Knipe racing, since then the bike did 2 xco events and maybe 100km road cycling, will give them a call tomorrow and find out what we can do, maybe it's still under service warranty
