Thanks, I just got back from a ride and wondered what on earth was happening. I can’t get my ride onto my phone at all.

Parts of my ride downloaded but lost most of the data was lost. I first noticed a problem when the unit kept auto pausing. A very loud paused buzzing sound came on and went on for almost a minute after I stopped at a traffic light. Initially I thought the vehicle next to me had somehow jammed my phone/unit. Thereafter no km/h readings where showing. I shut off the unit and restarted the ride but the issues continued. I haven't tried to use the unit since and hopefully a firmware update will be issued soon.

It might have uploaded as if it were recorded in January 2006, that's what mine did.

I have wondered, I’ll check this evening when I get home.

Just checked now quickly and it was indeed there. Uploaded and the gps data was very sporadic, rather annoyed because I emptied myself on a climb hoping to better my pr.

Thanks for posting this. Just got in from a ride and mine was intermittently dropping or not showing data. Good to know they are working on it.

Eish, I am riding tomorrow and dunno

Same. I’m praying that there’s a firmware fix in the next few hours. Otherwise, I’ve just linked all my sensors to the wahoo app and I’ll try and ride with that.

The scary thing is there were a couple of people in the DC Rainmaker article’s comments that said they don’t think this will be able to be fixed. I really hope that’s not the case.

These okes taking us for the fool!! Its been like 6 days since the issue started and they still havent fixed it or pushed an update! Clearly they are not taking their loyal customers and users seriously, makes me think of another company that sells phones where they make older models slower and slower intentionally to force people to buy new ones… massive wahoo fan but this is ridiculous! At the moment you cant even log a basic ride and if you have you cant actually log it!

Update - Aug 22, 5:21 PM ET

Thank you for your continued patience as we work to resolve the GPS time issue on ELEMNT, BOLT 1, and ROAM 1 computers. We know how frustrating this has been, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

We have identified a firmware solution and will be testing it thoroughly this weekend to ensure it's completely stable.  We expect the testing to take at least three days.

We will release the fix via a standard firmware update as soon as we have confirmed the solution.  Our team is working hard to get you back on the road.
