I’ve had the Titan Racing Cypher DC Carbon Empire in my fleet since March and was fortunate enough to put it to the ultimate test at the 2025 Absa Cape Epic. Here are my thoughts after six months of riding, with a few marathon stage races thrown in for good measure: Out of the Box The second generation Titan Racing Cypher is available in two variants: the Cypher RS, with 100mm of travel for serious racers, and the Cypher DC, offering 120mm of travel for riders seeking a more forgiving and capable ride. Knowing my riding style and marathon stage […]

Thanks for the review and can echo these views as a new owner. Just checking the correctness in that the Carbon Empire is the 3rd from top specification. My understanding is that there is a Carbon Ultimate as top-spec and then the Carbon Empire?

great review, thanks @Kylie

what is an aggressive geometry comparison exercise......? were any dassies harmed in the process?🤣

Lastly I think the bike Size labels need to shift over one column to the right since the "Small" column has flip chip positions listed and the medium column has the size small data, large has size medium data etc

My bad - I thought there was a Cypher DC Carbon Team model, but I see it's only available for the Cypher RS. Good catch, thank you!

Ride the bike to see how it feels. Spacing over spreadsheets will only get you so far.

NAH

Doesn't Have UDH Frame.

Don't Like the Wheels.

Got All that from the Spreadsheets.

The Orbea is Looking Good Waiting for Stocks to come in.

Will always Test Ride before Tapping the Plastic.

...about the only thing that was relevant to what I said....the rest is thread derailment

If the Titan doesn’t have UDH then how is it running SRAM Transmission?

Hi,

We check with Cliff Beckett, our head designer:

"No, no current frames are UDH ready. The Cypher looks like it will fit UDH, but it won't. The idea for the hanger on the Cypher is similar in that it coaxially mounts to the rear axle, for a more precise fit. In that respect, it's just like the UDH. But we designed the Cypher before SRAM released UDH to us in 2019."

Look at the spec sheet for the version on review..... Then you can go and clean the mud off your face
