🚴‍♀️ Melissa is back at it! This time she takes on the infamous SS7 trail section at Contermanskloof on the Tygerberg MTB network. Back on the bike after her accident, she’s slowly rebuilding confidence and fitness — and today, she takes over the mic to share the ride from her perspective.

This ride forms part of her Wines2Whales training journey, and SS7 definitely tested her flow, nerves, technical ability and determination. 💪

👉 Bonus tip: if you head out to Contermanskloof, don’t skip the Dairy Shed — they serve the best carrot cake you’ll find anywhere. Perfect trail fuel (or reward)! 🥕🍰
