Frame for monster gravel

Hi Guys,

Can anyone suggest a good frame that can handle a 42T chainring? I already have most of the kit. The idea is to do a flatbar gravel bike with low front travel and clearance of 2.25.

I have looked at gravel bikes in general but I want to be able to experiment on this build.

I have a 42t chainring on a Silverack Sola frame but that will be maximum.

that is a tricky question.

I have a 42 on an aluminum Merida Big Nine from ±2013.

Might be easier to ID a few frames that are options/Available to you and see if you can find out if they can handle the chainring
