Taneesha Posted August 1, 2008 Share apparently it does go a bit on first come- first serve base, but it depends what distance you've entered. I'm doing the 30km and start in group A. Shebeen Posted August 1, 2008 Share seeding, i think that is something that farmers do to make their mielies grow out the ground. i thought we had a bit of a seeding series going here with Argus MTB, STB, Knysna and Lourensford all involved. last year as a ppa member i did them all, started everyone in the second group and came in the top 20% of my group in all of them. in STB I came 5/125 in the AB group. PhilipV Posted August 1, 2008 Share I agree with Sean. Get on your bike and ride. Just enjoy riding for ridng sake, better than sitting in a cast and watching others ride your local trails. Besides, you have got 421km to pass the slow boys, mountainbiking gets tough in the last half of the ride, and that is when you need to dig in and pass everyone.
