The same people who don't ride the see saw won't ride a bridge either. Maybe if it's 5 metres wide...

The same people who moan about the teeter totter are the same people who moan about nothing being done. If they want something easier they need to build it. It doesnt just appear from nowhere. Maybe the dipstick who wrote the original letter on Spinman's blog could put it in. Would certainly offer an alternative and get fewer people "attempting" the teeter totter when they shouldn't.

If anyone is keen to help I will donate the timber for a bridge as I would hate for this obstacle to be removed because someone cant ride it and wants to spoil it for those who can.

I don't agree.. I ride plenty of bridges narrow and wide, but I'm too scared to attempt the see saw.

the difference is the one moves and the other doesn't

There are some nice tree trunks at the botanical gardens just lying there for quite a while already. If they can be picked up and just slit into two you would have great bridges. yo uwill need a crane and one heck of a saw to do this.

Eish that's a lot of PT. Maybe we should check first where we can put a bridge and how much we need to span. Maybe somewhere with a soft landing.LOL

Hi
all

The
teeter totter saw its last day on the spruit yesterday, John and his crew removed
it. It will however live on, will keep you updated on the infamous bridge and
where it will appear next.

The
party for the 23rd  August has thus been cancelled.

Steve
please spread the word to the Spinman community

Can someone put a plank or something over the water there? Wonder how long that would last till someone falls off and gets hurt. Ermm

Let's phone and engineering firm and have them build a 6 lane suspension bridge. That should be safe enough?
