So far so good! 1:30 race last night and no oil leakage ..............

 

 

Just watch the seal from now on. Suggest you store the fork upside down to keep the seal lubed.

Alternatively just a few drops of fork oil on the seal before you ride should protest till the fork starts working and wets the seal via the compression stroke.

In the mean time start saving for new sliders, crown and steerer assembly.

I guess it depends on how bad the damage is and how much effort you are prepared to put in Big%20smile

 

My LBS also said replace blah blah blah but they know me by now .......
