I need help from the Know-How-2-Hubbers.

I tried in vain last night to swop my front and rear tyres around. The tyres are not completely tubeless, but rather one of these Jo's conversion kits. When I got the stuff in the beginning, installing and getting air into the tyres was a dandy. Last night though, I just frustrated myself. I tried to work without throwing the old Jo's liquid away, keeping the tyre in an upright position and so on, but I can't seem to get the tyres to seat. I even went to the local garage for more oomph on the compressed air side of things!

What do you experienced okes suggest?

Clean everything properly . Remove all the old latex from the bead of the tyres and from your rim strip . It is a lot of effort but you will find your tyres seals first time if you do it .

Do like me just take it to the LBS.

That's like half the fun at twice the price Wink

You can't call yourself a MTBr if you haven't tasted tyre sealant (or got it in your eyes) from a bad tubeless conversion attempt! LOL
