We have a sircle route that we train for DC. About 195KM, from George to Oudtshooring, over the Robertson pass to Mosselbay & then back to Geroge again! It's sutch a lovely place and it doesn't cost petrol

That is also great here, to think of it, everything is great here! Lucky for me... i also manage the Wellness World Cycling Club so i also know everyone.

Ride single file, and enjoy the view. Watch out if the wind is blowing though - becomes quite try to hold a straight line.

I had three Elite rides where I got dropped with the first 10kms. And yet somehow we would manage to hold off the SV all on our own...

Cause that is the easy way out and then you might aswell start in A or wherever you seeded until you good enough.

Sorry hardcore I got dropped about 20km in on the first elite race and the only SV's that caught us was a break away. they kindly pulled us back to the back of elites. the 2nd time i got caught by SV's was the simonsvlei league ride. i was toast by helshoogte and there was no ways i was staying with the bunch. SV caught us on the back road to paarl about 20km from the finish. There was no ways 3 of us were gonna stay away from the SV bunch..

andre_ct Posted August 17, 2008 Author Posted August 17, 2008 so i have my 1st week of base training behind me....thx for the info Foe Fighter1st time i'm working with a structured training plani was planning on buying me new shoes, but i saw that i seriously need a new pair asap....any suggestions??? i'm looking to spend up to 1kneed to get me another carrier also after selling mine some time ago
