This comes after a PE cycling club sent out a mail on Friday warning people to ride safely and not ride on the opposite side of the white line.

 

I marshalled at Surrey Hills at race last year. You will not believe how many guys went up that blind rise on the wrong side of the road. Despite that fact that I put cones on the road to stop them and despite my shouting, they still risked their lives trying to shave a few seconds off their time.

 

One car coming in the opposite direction and you are dead.
