Oh well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later again.

This morning my girlfriends bicycle was stolen from the  garage.  The intrepid thieves simply forced the door open (it no longer works) and ran off with the bike.  And the garage is linked to armed response.

Anyway.

If anyone comes across a Iron Horse Warrior 5 size 15.5" (really small) in a lovely green colour in the cape town area, won't you let me know.

Thanks

I have my bikes 'chained' with a cheap but very loud and high-pitched alarm cable. This R160 system has prevented a bike being stolen twice.

I know that this will not bring your ladies bike back but it might help prevent other bikes from being stolen.

Good luck tracking it down mate.

I bought the cable at Makro. It would be very easy to cut through it with the right tools but it makes a big noise. I also use it on my bike caddy for longer trips.

Have you had any luck finding your bike ST?

njet, no joy as of yet.  suspect the bike is in for a long and eventful life far far away.

so just trying to get the quotes from the bike shop to submit to insurance.  Maybe just maybe they'll pay out a little.

ho hum c'est la vie I guess

Bastards.  I also had a bike stolen out of my garage.  Now, I just keep my baby inside too!

Sorry to hear about this, supertorro ... I hope you manage to find the bike or at least get some kind of compensation from your insurance.
