Thanks. Got a pair, trying them for Hill 2 Hill unless I get something I like more. These remind me a bit of the Maxxis Crossmark which I really like.

Lil' Ben says they are the dogs you know what's ......... and he has ridden Crossmarks for a long time. Gave me hell the weekend cause he had to ride my training bike with the 'super duper' Merida Race tyres on .......... said they were not the dogs you know whats ........ rather the dogs ar$e .......

Hey Big Ben,does that mean they good or not. The ones I got is not UST but it says it is 2Bliss tubeless ready. What does that mean?. And if anyone knows, are they lighter than Crossmarks?

TitusTi are you using the S-works SLK variety or the normal LK. How much do the non-tubeless weigh?

I'm using the non-tubeless LK 29'er, they weigh in at about 600 grams, might be wrong though, don't really weigh the stuff on my bike?

If Lil Ben says they are then yes the Captains are ace! Don't know about weight, he's more concerned with performance/puncture resistance.......

He runs them on Cane Creek tubeless wheels with Joe's (the 2Bliss ones!).

Hi

Great tyres. I use them tubeless on XTR UST rims with Slime. I prefer using the Fast Track LK Control on the back with the Captain Control on the front. Weights of the two that I fitted last week were Fast Track LK Control - 559 Grams and the Captain Control 597 Grams. They are not as resistant to sidewall cuts as the Crossmarks but overall offer great performance and exceptional value for money.
