my mate / colleague (I haven't decided yet) took a tumble on the spruit ride this morning.

He's slurring his words a bit - we think he's okay though as this is quite normal.

just like my doctor - he's still practising - fortunately this was on the MTB - if it was on the road he would have been riding the specialised I lent him ... and if he took out his missus -then that would brought down the Merida that I've lent her ....

At least the helmet did what it was supposed to do.

What happened? Did he do a half-front-flip?

Is that the rut just after the little bridge at the start? Off Devonshire road?

See the problem with half-front-flips is that you normally end up upside-down. Please tell him in future to rather do a three-quaters-front-flip or a full-front-flip. Not only do they impress the ladies much more that the half-front-flip, but you tend to use a lot less helmets. LOL

Many times have those rutts cought out riders. That is wahy there are so many paths next to it. A few more will be added when the rains come.

I've been caught by one of those very badly. The big problem with the ruts on the Spruit is that they are narrow and deep. Once your front wheel is out, our back wheel doesn't join the party and your bike become a catapult. With you as the ammo. Dead

It's the section between linden and victory park.

Gnarly has very kindly agreed to sponsor the next helmet Thumbs%20Up
