Should be a 34.9mm if a 31.6 or 30.9 seatpost. Seattube diameters are usually 34.9 ( for 31.6/30.9 sposts ) , 31.6 ( for 27.2 sposts ) or 28.6 ( cromo frames - 27.2~25.8 sposts )

Yip - you would need a 34.9mm clamp.

 

The older XTC1 and 2 takes a 31.6mm seatpost (normally came out with a shim) and the XTC3 takes a 30.9.

 

Not sure on the latest ones.
