Support vehicle for Lido Route

I am increasingly concerned about the number of MASSIVE trucks we have to deal with on the Lido route. Last week going up "steps" in the wind I left the road twice because of fear of being taken by 18 wheele trucks. Those guys cannot see us when they are passing, they are so high up and sitting on the RHS of their Cabs they have no Idea where we are.

I am trying to get an idea of what sort of support I would have in arranging for a support vehicle or 2 on a rotational basis, specificaly for that route.

Any like mind cyclists from the south want to support this??

There are already some vehicles I have seen but its not consistant and one never knows which route they are going to go or exactly who they are actualy supporting.

This is a good idea, but we need to find an alternative route as this route is way to busy lately. But it will definately be an improvement on safety.

I would be keen to do a support rotation.

Support vehicles make the world of difference!
