Excesssive wear on chain ring !!!

The way this posting is going it will ghange to "excessive wear on my mouse wheel"

USE SQUIRT IT IS THE ONLY LUBE THAT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!!

Well I don't know about that one. Since using Squirt I have had to change a chainring or two...

Go back and read the posting made by our esteemed fundi's. Remember this posting started with chainring wear and moved to chain lubricants. From what I see is that damaged chains will not destroy chainrings. You either have something else wrong (maybe a vile chainring eating virus!!!!) or you are using inferior quality chainrings.

It seems it could not be the SQUIRT or any other useless lubricant not endorsed by the Guru's of bicycle repairs.
