It's a fairly relaxed ride, a few (really) short kickers with loose rocks, but not very technical. At the turning point there is a nice rock pool for a swim. Most people will do it under 4 hours.

Caerus Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I get so excited everytime I see this thread heading as there is a Palmiet River near my place in Durban, Westville. I even took a pic of the sign of the river at the bridge.

Musashi Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Has anyone rode this trail lately? i'm going there next week and want to go check it out. I was there about 3 weeks ago. Lekker ride, but there is one area that is a bit flooded with long grass and you have to walk it. You might get your feet wet.
