It makes no odds to me what you think. The man you are defending has almost certainly read what I wrote and chose to rise above/ignore it.

I'm sure he doesn't need your sycophantic meddling on his behalf.

You quite fiesty for a ballie....start with the small gears ..slowly progress to the bigger ones ..and when you see your heartbeat go over 150 you should try and keep it there for as long as you can....

I am also sure that DB did not need you to meddle on his behalf...I presume you know DB...??...I AM PART OF THE PUBLIC , AND IF SOMEONE ATTACKS A FRIEND OF MINE IN PUBLIC , I SHALL PUBLICALLY DEFEND HIM...does that sound familiar...so by the way ...what does that psycho word mean...???

A sycophant (from the Greek συκοφάντης sykoph?ntēs) is a servile person who, acting in his or her own self interest, attempts to win favor by flattering one or more influential persons, with an undertone that these actions are executed at the cost of his or her own personal pride, principles, and peer respect. Such a manner is called obsequiousness

Sorry I missed this discussion for about 2 days. David is a good politician. What he told Carinus about my handling of the race and his answer on the HUB are totally opposite statements. What more must I say, but I have nothing to apologise for.

jissie, golefty you're dof smiley36.gif

the price was "fixed" at the price that groot lem believed he could afford if he would pursue his tiff with david, and its subsequent potential fallout with carinus. thus, one cannot say that the price was fixed, but in economic terms, the opportunity cost was established by the original investor, declared, and then opted out of. happens all the time in business. sorta.

no, an opportunity cost is something you weigh up before making an investment. what happened here was that an offer was tendered - and there's nothing wrong with that - and later withdrawn. no deals were signed. no commitments were made. holy roller2008-10-24 09:59:25
