Ok, so everyone has been raving about the new Sram road groupsets...smiley4.gif But what i want to know is:

Is Sram really better that Shimano and Campy? Im not getting Sram smiley2.gif , i just want to know what the difference is...

Is Sram better or worse than the other big groupsets?

So please, those of you that had Campy or Shimano and have changed to Sram, is there a big difference?

Is it worth it in the long run?

Define better. Better made, better colour scheme, better shifting, better weight. If your current groupset works without any trouble then what can be better. If it does not work without trouble, then someone messed up the installation. No groupset is better then any other. It comes down to personal choice. If you don't need/want a lightweight groupset, then why go lighter. If you don't need/want more then 9 speed, then why get it. If you don't want/need to be a ponce, don't get Campy.

No its not.LOL

It's different nad has some features that you may find appealing.

1) the zero loss shifting

2) the ergonomics

3) slightly less weight

At the end of the day both shift a derailleur up and down a set of sprocket teeth. Both do it efficiently.
