Miltons is just hydrochloric bleach and you may as well go for the cheapest Checkers private label bleach then. This is a good steriliser but poor cleaner.

I used to have to buy expensive pills for my automatic coffee machine but then a picture of someone's dentures in a glass told me to experiment with Steradent. It's an effervescent cleaner and does a better and cheaper job of cleaning my coffee machine than the expensive tablets.

As a great side-effect, it gives a great minty taste to the first cup thereafter....not.

Would you recommend Gooi-ing your Camelbak in the washing machine on a gentle / cold wash? My other half complains about a horrible smell when riding behind me....and the Camelbak ALSO has some hectic odours!

Ja, they can stink. During the Epic I wouldn't let mine sleep in the tent.  It had a life all of its own and used to wander around the camping ground posing as a ressurected goul from the grave.

Gooi it in the washing machine, hose it down, shoot it, whatever.

I don't clean it - I leave what ever is in it for about 2 months, and the I just have to open the lid, and the "creature" walks out on its own. I still have some left over TransBaviaans gunk in my camelbak - should almost be ready to release into the wild.
