Plain flat cogs sometimes chew up your freewheel body. As for spacers, the easiest is to use either external BB spacers(there's always extra with a new BB....ask your LBS) or just split an old/cheap cassette. Tumbleweed Posted October 20, 2008 Share hey loon! yours looks a lot like mine did. minty, what frame was that? an avalanche? my tensioner is more of a bodge job. will get pocketbikes to shoot a coupla pics of it on sunday. looks mean with the drop bars! took it out for its first off-road thrash yesterday. was scary descending in the drops, but wooooooooohoooooooooo!!!!! such fun! [/quote'] yip, put them on for the crater cruise, but fell before i got outta town. took it to groenies yesterday, and had an absolute blast! will ride it on sunday, for sure. some of the drop-offs are sure to be a bit sketchy, but what's a little bit of blood!
