Critical Mass Baby!

The time is fast approaching for us to take back the streets again. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Critical Mass is about creating awareness via an unorganized mass participation commute, essentially providing everyone with safety in numbers. We need the numbers to make some sort of an impact, by numbers I?m talking of 100, that?s my target for this.

If we can get at least a 100 people to arrive on the last Friday of every month then there will be some sort of impact, at this point we?re not there yet (hint, hint).

The date will be the 31^st of October (Halloween for those who don?t know).

Details are:

Group 1, meet at Baxter at 06:40 to depart at 06:45, to Long Street

Group 2, meet across from the CTICC at the top of Long Street at 07:10.

From here we cruise through the waterfront over to GlenGarrif road and back along Green Point Main road (maybe stopping for coffee).

Remember, dress casual (or dress scary, it is Halloween), we?re working here.

Also, we don?t care what bike you ride, points will not be lost nor indeed allocated but for cool factor old school steel fixie?s are really gonna wow the crowd.

Because I really do have a job that I really do need to go to! And it is nowhere near where this ride ends, in fact I have to turn around and go back in the opposite direction and then some.

All very well you Ninny, but where do we shower after the ride or do we punish the motorists with the Cologne de Gerrie Coetzee for the day as well..............oh yes will Lolo take Piera to work for me? lets hear if there are any other PE here..........apart from Speedie who will be at school.

We shower at home you prat cause it aint far enough to cycle to work from anywhere in PE so once we get to work we go back home. And in anycase we would just cycle down W Moffet-Cape Rd-Target Kloof and then home down Main Road Walmer. That should get more than enough awareness and P1ss@ff just about the whole of PE's drivers now I really want to do it.
