Pornstar Posted November 14, 2008 Author Posted November 14, 2008 Hi Yes i did see it, we work everyday and every batch on this and sometimes a few slip through that might leak or have the butterfly cut slighter higher, unfortuantely in SA we still dealing with human error but we run on a 3% wastage which i think is very good... If you guys ever have this happening , get hold of me with the batch number and expiry and we will sort it out for you

I think that recommendation from the pros is good cause when I went to a talk about riding by malcolm lange I tried all the things he recommended and now I want to buy a raleigh just because he said so. It all brain-wash but it works.
rad006 Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Bought the new Protein Gels....Taste better, sunday will tell how they work...and before anybody says dont try new stuff on race day I ate 2 yesterday to see how my stomach handles them and I was perfect.... Even if I do blow it doesnt matter as a Tricycle is never the fastest way to do 94.7 Nice Flavour Collin thought it would be more milky though but not a problem...
Pornstar Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Good news..will see...i have tried to sponsor a few pro teams but they are all full of S*** its a lot of hard work as they are never happy with anything... i do sponsr some teams, just not the big ones...for me its a case of proof is in the pudding..we all athletes trying to go as fast as we can...so i say we need to harden up...at the end of the day if you take it and it stays down and works then that is what counts surely... i mean peole drink barley green ??

Scooterza Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 After reading this posting, I decided to give Whasps a try. Must admit that the Green 100mg Caffeine one tasted pretty harsh! The 50mg one was better though still not great. The new propolis/protein vanilla one was not bad at all though flavour-wise. But having said all that, I rode the 94.7 today and did much better than I could have hoped for. No bonking and finished strongly. Took a plain crazy berry at 20 minutes, then a propolis at 1 hour 20, then a 50mg caffeine at about 2.20 and didn't feel the need for the 100mg caffeine one so still have it for another time. Hard to say conclusively that it was whasp that did it for me but certainly didn't run out of gas so a good sign. I will use them again.

Gman1834 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Thanks for the promo at the expo, I tried the green wasp just as I got off the N14 thinking it should last the last 40min well it lasted but i was over the line in less than 30min. It doesn't taste to good but taking a sip of my energy drink and having a jellybaby the taste were gone, i could feel the stuff working. wish i had more for the second lap with the wife. My wife had one of the woman specific gels and said it taste good and it worked, she also said the gel is to big but she took the other half later in the race.

Troy Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 I had a Wasp on the N14 and was told I went 2km/h faster. Not sure, I wasn't there . I do know that I don't have a problem with the taste, I did end up having to gnaw my way through the packaging to get to the contents coz the top didn't tear nicely, and a girl need nicely. I'm chuffed and i will definately use Wasp again. Thanks Pornstar
