Newboy Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I am looking for a tire to use on my 29 er to commute to work. I would say about 75/25 on hardpack/tar. Looking for something that will roll smoothly. Must be tubeless ready. Any suggestions?

rock Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 you can use a 700c touring tyre - conti do a lot of them, like 28c to 35c wide.The 29 in a 29er tire is a bit of a pointless measurement, you need to compare the ERD and ETRTO........ 29ers and 700c both are 622 interms of ETRTO.....rock2008-10-30 02:37:50
