unreal... words cannot express the anger I feel towards the shooter.

Echo your sentiment on this one.

Just give me 5 minutes alone with him...

Nah, I want him for two weeks and trust me when I say he will live for every minute of those two weeks. I have some interesting theories on pain thresholds I want to try out on some scuzz bucket.

Five minutes would be too kind to this scourge of society.

Yip reminds me of the story of the 2 brothers a few years ago. they shot someone trying to still their bikes. It was a mess to sort out.I think that was in honeydew.

I know the one brother well. Lloyd Griffith. After 3 years all the charges against them where dropped. The ass came after them armed with a pistol but he screwed with the wrong guys.

problem is carrying guns and using them' date=' the damn perps have more rights than the victums, and you might find yourself on the wrong side of an attempted murder charge...[/quote']

not to mention being able to get to the gun in time. sh!t, i wish we didn;t have to live like this!

We need to start thinking like First world countries. I know this is going to sound deep. But in some way we are all adding to the situation. I nearly got knocked down on Saturday by a speeding (white)gentleman. In many ways we all abuse the law. I'm not comparing the two but saying in many ways we could make it better by insisting that we all obey the law in all areas.Sounds much easier than it is with the mix of 1st and 2nd world clashing.TIA

Shooting was never mentioned..

Im thinking more like chips - on Bikes.. to track the f(*&^%%)rs....

My bike was bought in the UK while I lived there & London being 1 of the top cities for bike theft, insurance companies required & supplied you with a datakit i.e. you needed to install this chip - drop it down you seat tube-glued obviously or else you'll hear this annoying rattling noise. This way they could track your bike anywhere in the world if it was stolen.

I'm thinking insurance compainies in SA should introduce this for more peace of mind not that it's going to reduce the crime but you'll get your bike back & save your own life by giving the bike up at gunpoint.

Yeah Right Milky.

If we start putting chips into bikes, they will still take you out for the bike, regardless. The tactics for getting hold of a bike may change in a way that we don'tlike or can't deal with, but it won't stop the sods.

Problem is the criminals in this fine country of ours do have more rights than "honest Joe" and that's where the problem starts and goes downhill from there.

AS I see it, we are all less free than we were 20 years ago and that goes for everyone regardless of race, colour or creed.

The criminlas have us held hostage in our own self-made prisons and it's wrong.

The law needs to be changed.

i wish we didn;t have to live like this!

Never a dull moment. And all this talk of taking guns and whatnot with you is the biggest bullsh*t. I were rob of my bike at knifepoint. At that moment you can do nothing. You just go numb. If you feel brave enough to take you're gun out of you're camelbak and shoot the animals...good luck.

One of our black workers got robbed of his wages. It turned out to be a hotspot of robbers at the end of the month. On payday a few robbers would hide in the bushes and ambush the workers. Next month the workers hid in the bushes and send out a dummy on his bike. When the robbers tried to take his money they all jumped from their hiding places and well.....the next morning the police found two severely bliksemed robbers tied to tree. It never happend again.

I have a mini stun gun. Maybe I should start taking it with me on my training rides.

I saw Dischem has pepperspray with a velcro attachment for R175....Thinking of getting one of them too.

What would be the best place on someone's body to stun a person for maximum results?

If you see them coming use the stun gun on yourself. That will be your safest option.

Eish. Probably the crown jewels. (Fry the suckers eggs.)

At least that way, if he gets off, he'll be firing blanks and wont be able to procreate any more hooglians.

If you want to have better chances of getting out of that situation alive leave your stun gun at home. Only Bruce Willis and some peeps with specialist training make it without getting shot. Oh, and a seriously lucky Dude if you want to take your chances.
