If you going to ride it' date=' which you should being that it is a 'dale. You going to wear out the chainset eventually. Why not remove it and put it away. Turn it into an SS using cheap generic bits and if you ever want to restore it, you have all the bits stowed away somewhere.

got two singlespeeds already (three if you count my bmx), so i'd use it just as a retro runaround.

 

aicorner, i reckon, offer your mate R500 bucks, but please find out more about the r100.

I'd agree on the R500.00 maybe going up to R 700.00.

Soon you will be growing a long ponytail and wearing sandles with socks mate ....................

No way this bike is only worth R500 or R700, and no way its becoming a fixie.  This is a real classic : I'm going ot offer at least R725; and I will post photos when she's mine !
