What do I look for in a MTB shoe?

I've only ever had one pair of mtb shoes (8years) so i can't really comment on what doesn't work. Got the Diadora jalapenos - have the laces plus velcro top strap.

 

About two years ago i started thinking about replacing them as i've just had them so long. Still haven't replaced them yet, and that includes a freedom challenge where all the shoes get trashed from all the walking.

 

if i do get a new pair, i'd go for more of the same or the olympics (hurricane model i think it is)

Me thinks this will eventually be my next pair of MTB Shoes.

That is what your nephew Anton just bought.........I'm not to keen but it was a good price R600 I think he paid.

He is in Uitenhage all week. Just thought it would be the polite thing to do. Hell were in the crapper if he pitches up.
