Slave Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Andy, the N3 Gate is accessed from the R550. We are meeting around 07h15 and heading out as soon as possible after that. Not later than 8 according to Delgado. One lap = roughly 57 km. 3 long hard climbs, and a few flats and serious technical decents. EDIT: The R550 links the bottoom of the steps with the N3 to Durbs. The other entrance is on the western side and you would generally use this western entrance if you are going to kareekloof.2nd Edit: Just checked Google Earth and see that the R550 is also known as Alberton Road. Entry for the reserve is 10 bucks for the car and 20 bucks per person. When you go in the gate, follow the road until you find the parking area. It is through a gate just after a left hand bend in the road. Sign up there says "farm museum". Depending on the weather, I shall probably be wearing that bright yellow jacket of mine. Either that or Panda Kit.
