Soon we're gonna have to take a collection just to fund Nancy's appearance fee! Dont forget the little guys Nancy.

Thanks for the puncture repair lesson Nancy. Was very informative...as for the lecture' date=' not so much![/quote']

COOL!! an appearance fee hey? smiley16.gif

I'm in huge demand on a Saturday morning so I'll get my people to call you to make necessary arrangements.

That's cool! this weeks lesson will be fixing a broken chain smiley2.gif

(or maybe I shouldn't tempt fate smiley9.gif)

I'm getting some phantom shifts from time to time, so maybe ... who knows?

Speaking of which (phantom shifts etc)

Os. Maybe you need to come by my place first (before we ride).

Need to make sure that bike of yours is up to the ride. This bunch we going with on Sat are a bit faster, so catching them is a whole different ball / bike game.

Nance, how come you get appearance fees and the old wise bird gets zip?

Oh wait, that's because he is crazy enough to volunteer. smiley36.gif

I would if I could "fix" GO's bike. That red rocket would definitely be the only bike with ten speed sequential reverse. smiley4.gif

Usually, kid, even when I think I know what I'm doing, I don't have a clue.

The only thing I know for sure is, I'm opening my mouth to change feet.smiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

Geez you guys make me laugh! Its like Fawlty Towers on here!

I have visions of leaving my bike with S2L for a service...and he welds the brakes closed against the rim!!!

Er... GO, I am not faulty. Complete certifiable without question, but I AM NOT FAULTY. smiley15.gifsmiley36.gif

So the people you work with wonder what you're doing laughing at your computer too.

You must see this crowd at my office. They walk around crossing their fingers at me all day. I used to wonder what they were doing but I figured it out, eventually.

Nuts, I tell you. (now there's an idea. Os, bring bar one's with nuts on Saturday. Wait, that would make me a canibal.)

GO. Why would I weld your brake blocks to your rims? That would be so obvious. I prefer the more subtle approach, like freezing your freehub so you have to keep peddling all the time like a track bike.  No rest up or downhill. Of course first prize would go to being able to flick a remote stwitch and instant reverse. smiley14.gif

On da uvver hand Darren, making the wheel bearings really tight would use and enormous amount of power to get the bike moving, but I have to invent a system that could do that at the flick of a switch.

(Scheming mind at work.)

Chat later dudes. Gotta go find me some graph paper and engineering manual. (Help JB.)

The big question is, can S2L weld ???

This, I have to see. Nance, you in for Saturday?

owls and crazy people not usually known for their sparkling personality. (Os, on the other hand, he's from your neck of the woods. )

Oh.... 'k, the penny just dropped. Os has a wedding on Saturday that he is being very secretive about and a "date" for this wedding that is equally mysterious.

You are being sent as a spy (PI) to make sure he bahaves and is not going to seedy strip joints, keeping away from Rosettenville and generally going for a BIKE ride as reported to his "date" (bride) and that he wont get "lost along the way" and will make it to the alter on time. Right?

Right.

GO, KId, check you pm's. Change of plan. Have shirt made for os. "About to be married". I'll get the tins and ropes to ties them on his bike. Kid, white wash for the tyres and writing on the bike.

Nance. Nah, forget it, you're on the wrong side, but just in case, lace his bar ones with some vodka.

GO, we need Dash. What can Dash do? I'll think of something. Weld his car brakes while we out on the ride.

That railway line runs close to the steps, we can put Os and the bike on the train, going south.

Dudes, think up sh!t here. Help.

Edit: OH BUGGER, that was supposed to be PM.
