GO - That crit idea sounds great if it is over weekends. Weekdays will be hard to get to with work.

Next A event for me is IM 2010 (25 April)

The rest is just prep and my MTB is badly banged up at the moment.

So I recon I will strip the ol girl down and rebuild her over the next couple of weeks.

I have no A event on my horizon this year.

 

Just a string of B and C events (in terms of effort and expected performance).  This is still great coz BnC equates to more fun and hopefully a gigantic base for 2011 - which will have only one goal (A event) somewhere in the middle of the year

I recon it is wrong to call mine "A" as I would never be able to compete

 

This is normally just a race at the end of a 12 week polar program.

 

Planning a 12 hour IM and that is 3.5 hours of the pace but 1.5 hours under my PB.

 

Just need to figure out how to run now

In the running group I run with there is a bloke who did the full Ironman AND Comrades last year.... All those miles and miles he had to put in on the bicycle and runs were quite astonishingly crazy!

 

Just stick to your training plans and then you should be fine on the big day!
