Owl' date=' what enraged glory? I was huffing and puffing to hang on.. and bailed on the first semi-opportunity [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley1.gif[/img]

I heard you had a problem with two tubes which you threw around before throwing you bike? Why did you bail? Nance kill you on Saturday? smiley17.gif

The first tube I took out was the backup tube (previously punctured). Dropped that on the ground and took the new tube and used that.

Somehow not all the C02 went into the wheel, and then GO saw a bubble on the tyre... Decided that it was too dicey to continue with a bubble wheel if so... (Yes, I was still a bit tired after the 90km MTB ride the day before in temperatures up to 50 deg. Celcius as well as the 10km run on Friday evening)

I could not throw my bike as GOv3 was holding it (He even commented on how heavy it was smiley36.gif, it weighs a mere 10kg... smiley2.gif

At least I still attempted the ride on Sunday, unless some other people who bailed on a Breedtsnek ride after a roadie race the day before smiley2.gif

So you littered as well?

Get yourself a pump!

50 degrees? Where is your proof?

Not what I heard. I heard you threw 2 tubes and then your bike.

You are like a woman Os, bringing things up from the past! At least in this roadie race I did actually race, unlike some. So I was justified in not riding on Sunday. And I believe someone else also did not ride that Breedt's Nek ride you refer to.

Whats happened here? Hardly any activity on this thread...

It was strange with Os on the weekend...I was watching the air go in, but the tyre was not inflating?! Its an X-File mystery I tell you!

Os, regarding the weight of your bike...I think if you shed the industrial sized Tubby-Bag, and the other gadgets the weight would drop considerably!

Anyways, later chaps...

Hey guys and gals. For those of you racing this weekend enjoy.

GO, I'm kinda looking to you to win this one this weekend. That route is your "stomping ground" is it not?

Good luck to all of ya, enjoy and be safe. I will be on the road at Klip river to hurl bricks and insults at those who are going to slowly. Hear that Kid. Best give it sticks. I will be easy to recognise. I'll be the green one standing on the side of the road looking like I lost my best friend.
