So Kid, less than 1 min of the winning time in your group and 5th in the group is awesome buddy, same goes for hummy.

In these groups it is really tough to make a big breakaway and stay away.

So for the race in a race you and hummy have great results.

Trubes this must have been a tough rave with all the climbing so well done.

Andy, well done again with A bunch finish.

Yip for me it is 8 weeks and 6 days to D Day

Slave missed you as well.

Well done all smiley32.gif

Slave - didnt see you this morning' date=' but wanted to report back that I saw Walter on our ride yesterday. Zini still going strong although it certainly looks a bit battered. Good to know it was a worthwile cause

smiley9.gif I had some junk I had to attend to at home so I wasn't able to get where I wanted to be. (Cylinder head gasket on the car. Took the head in to be skimmed this AM.) So, while y'all were racing and having fun, I was working like a slave. smiley7.gif

Saw Walter a few weeks ago. He came around to the house. He wrecked the weheelset I had on the Zini initially so I gave hime another set of wheels. Told him he had to clean his chain regularly and stop sticking soccer stickers on the bike.

I was appalled at what it looked like, but good to see him still riding.

Hey well done Team ASGR! I would have loved to ace this weekend but was doing my captainly duties for the UJ golf team so spent all of sunday on the finely manicured fairways of Royal JHB and not in the rough for a change smiley36.gif

I did venture out this afternoon to make up for it however, doing a loop up Comaro and through the hills of Bassonia twice before heading out along Rand Waterboard Road. I'm sore now smiley18.gif

What was your AHR and MHR for hitting a little white ball around the grass and trying to get it into a little hole 500m away? You mad! why not in the UJ cycling team?

Andy, I'm sure Kieran is part of the golf team NOT because of the golf!

Kieran, when is the reason for the golf returning to sunny R of SA?

You okes there in the souff, must just be a little more friendly, hey.

Nancy and I met up with the group - I said "Goood Morning". . .

Got no reaction - just a few blank stares.

ZC, welcome to the ASGR fred.

We okes in the souf are all blank. It's how we normally look.

Andy, still a few weeks before I get back on a bike. I suffered a lot doing the work on the car, but it had to be done.

Some of the ribs still hurt like h3ll. Planning on going to see a GP in a couple of weeks and maybe have some x-rays done to see why one particular rib doesn't seem to want to heal (or stop hurting.)

Hopefully it's just all this manual labour I have been doing.

Just think how lekker it will be when the pain finally goes away.

Yeah, well Zoo. It has to be a southern thing. Northern folk are much more friendlier! smiley2.gif

That isn't good. It is better to get it checked out then and find out why.

Zoo, reckon the time is near when you, Nance, Andy and myself need to go down there and show these blank stare soufferners how to be friendly... Maybe go demonstrate the 'smile and wave' thingy to them!

Should make them appear friendly, as well as wipe that blank stare of their faces!
