But it seems like the organisers and marshals seem to be tipping more towards the enforcement side and also seem to be getting "itchy fingers". While the Elites it is as a job and as such are competitive, A bunch seems to be the "amateur" competitive group. I was quite near the front when I pulled out the group so I saw the numbers that past me. A group was still big. While waiting for the sweep vehicle various other groups past me from the lower start groups. These groups were very much smaller. A bunch seems to be similar to the elites in terms of competitiveness. Maybe another option would be to do some form of rolling road closure for A bunch only similar to the Elites? Or else create a new category along the lines of "Open Racing" which would only be open to registered race teams of the various clubs. That would create an A Bunch that would be less like an elite bunch but a bit faster and competitive than B but at the same time a bit more like B.Maybe I should try get involved but there seems to just be way too much politics involved in SA Cycling at the moment. Instead of everyone working for the good of cycling they seem to be working only for themselves no matter how much hurt they do for the sport. CSA seems to be in complete shambles at the moment, a simple thing like licences is a mess! Predictor, sorry to hear about that. You had a great race!

You were just over 4 minutes behind the batch lead. Well done man! Just keep on doing the races, and the seeding ladder will eventually catch up. I came 12th. 12th I say!!!! Don't think this race helps much for seeding as it's timed by Championchip.At least I had a good R4S which is timed by Racetec.

This year it doesn't look like Champion Chip will be timing as many races.SS Timing seems to be entering the cycling world. Trubie, I did say that.I thought that the seeding for 94.7, etc all come from Racetec ?

Andyr249 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 SS Timing is sh!t I think. They didn't even pick up my chip in the Komorant. Glad I got my R50 back! Maybe I just rode too fast and they weren't ready for me as a few marshals and metro were still napping in their cars waiting instead of maning the intersections. Also their times for the race were way out! So my experience of them has not been too good up to now.
