Being Afrikaans score you bonus points if you want to emigrate to Oz... There are Afrikaans schools / churches / newspapers... Oh well.. at least that is what my brother tells me' date=' and I reckon he should know. He emigrated there in 2005. When he comes visiting here now he does it on a foreign passport. (And he can speak foreign to the locals... albeit the Oz flavour of foreign[img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley36.gif[/img]) Still convinced GO3 made a spelling error there can't think of anything I did to deserve Adelaide the accolade

So, 8 weeks have come and gone and I am now mentally psuched to get back on a bike. Only thing is, that is a problem right now. So how are we all doing?

Everyone out doing their final prep for Argus? I have it on good authority that Trubes is already in the "Mother City". (I hear they call it that because it takes nine months for them to produce anything down there.) Ahh cr@p, hat, coat. Colonel is going to come after me now. No panis, it will take him 9 months just to catch up with me. Went to a presentation / company thing earlier in the week. I met the chap that cycled around Africa. What an amazing chap. Cycled 37,000 km in 808 days. And I thought you lot were faulty. Hey, GO, how's the Colnago building going? And where is Ha-ha Kieran? Ever noticed how he starts off every single post with Ha-ha?

Slave Posted March 5, 2010 Author Posted March 5, 2010 As soon as I recover from the crews I am allegedly getting in the other houlder to balance the one I already have. Sometime next week I hope to be starting a training schedule. No fiixed plans yet, but I am ready to start slowly and get over the fear I have of falling off the bike. Day before yesterday, my ribs hurt more than they had in the previous 7 weeks. I have no idea why, but I was in a lot of pain. So, I will be starting slowly, and going slower. Thinking of asking admin to change my login again. I kinda like that "slowpoke" one. IMS, I think it's already taken though.
