Hey Kid. Was at work yesterday in the morning as I had a catering function to do in the afternoon/evening. Where were you today huh??? Didn't even go short?

Trubes? Where did you disappear to this morning? Looked for you in the bunch as we went into midvaal but there was no Trubie to be seen?

I was feeling so crap' date=' so when you turned right after the short climb after the gravel section, a coiple of us went right and did an extended longish Bosco thingy with about 12 guys.

Managed another 3:30 ride this morning after the creme decided its a good idea to start the week off with a cheesefactory followed by the Nampak Loop. Seriously deranged these buggers....

I see that Evans and Lakata has increased their lead to over 5 mins in the Epic. Seems Songo is taking bigtime strain. Wonder if Burry overcooked himself in the lead up to the Epic, with the Giro and the Argus?

Read on twitter yesterday Evans says he rode 11000 km from start of Dec in prep for this year's event.

Interesting that no SA rider has ever been in the winning team of the event which is in its 7th year!!

Maybe this time?

Nice meeting you this morning Tachy

I felt absolutely flat for the first hour(similar to the almost 4hrs of last sundaysmiley11.gif)' date=' but then things sort of fell into place a bit more and the rest of the ride was fine. We stopped 2x for flats and a pitstop at the Total in Henley. Ended up with 3:30 + ride, so well chuffed with that.(Tachy - what you guys do after turning left at the bottom of the steps?)

Hopefully we will have a longish ride in the morning, seeing its holiday again.

[/quote'] Trubie likewise. The 95km took a lot out of me on Sunday, I think I should have rather done the 80km Springbok plant hire race that I enteredsmiley4.gif.We took a left turn and went on the waterboard road back home. Didn't even manage to join you guys on Monday. I only did 1 hour on the indoor trainer Monday morning.I always thought that you wouldn't see me dead on a pinarello but damn that bike of yours is the .......(big words). See you guys on the weekend, hopefully I will have a little more distance in my legs this weekend.smiley9.gif

Tachy, no sweat , the P is a great ride. Also never imagined I'd be on one - ever. They say be careful what you wish for... you might just get it. There are still some of 'em available smiley1.gif
