If he can do the winner of the tour now already that would be interesting considering its still quite some time before the end. The Germans played extrmely well and Argentina fell apart, no idea who going to win this thing! History says no european country won WC out of europe will be interesting!
Slave Posted July 5, 2010 Author Posted July 5, 2010 Also can't tell who will win it. I seem to recallb that Evans had a big crash recently and was expected to miss TDF. Maybe I'm foncused. Contador maybe has the best chance since he won it last year. Can't see too many who can challenge him. Not even the Schlecks. LA is too old (I think) so can't see too much of a challenge from him. We may all end up being surprised. Just like this past weekend was a big surprise ITO the SWC. Both the big South American teams I expected to do well have been crunched out. Brasil lost to Holland and Argentina got a hiding by the German team. Spain did not do as well as I thought they would only just managing their win. Still off the bike with major head cold.

Slave Posted July 6, 2010 Author Posted July 6, 2010 It was a secret virus Andy. One that was supposed to attack and wipe out the PC. Unfortunately, the settings were wrong and it mutated into a person attacking virus. Just sneesze on the mouse. Methinks Andy, that since you are supporting Germany, you are about the only one happy about SWC right now. All three of my teams have crahed out. Then again, we knew Bafunny were never going to make it past group. At least they lived up to expectations. Then last weekend, both my other teams crashed and burned. Brasil and Argentina are gone. I think Germany will ultimately win it though, so good luck to them. They have played the best soccer so far, and the interesting thing: They don't really have a STAR player like Messi, Or Ronaldo. I know they have good players but the team work is awesome and I have to say, I think they deserve it.

I think when it gets to WC there is too much pressure on them to perform resulting in a poor performance! How awesome was the last bit of the TDF yesterday! Kieran you been watching?

Slave Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 So, one half of the equation is known. The other half I am going to guestimate. Holand beat Uraguay 3-2 in the 1st semi. Tonight Germany will beat Spain and on Sunday, the Germans will beat Holland to take SWC 2010. Feel it is is over.
