We can push it forward to the 4/5 April as long as none of us are doing the Vasbyt.

The guys doing the Wilro still have the weekend of the 11/12 to recover or go at it again.

GO, Hector Norris Park is seriously in the deep south.

Now this sounds like a plan.

Will they let me in with my 900 year old Peejou?

We can go for a short loop and then ride directly to HN park, I'ts just up the road.

I need someone to 'splain all that stuff to me so I can unnerstand it.

Nuwbie' date=' how about a quick / short(er/ish) loop on the 28th, and then a longer (Heidelberg) ride the weekend after?[/quote']

I need to do a long ride that weekend 28th, will then do it with the club.

Will be up for the Heidelberg route on 4/5th - no prob.

Its over both days. The first day is generally all the relevant qualifying rounds' date=' and sunday is for the finals. Although, I am not sure of the exact program.

Come watch, and I can also explain as to how the different events work. It can be a little confusing if your watching for the first time!

But its always good to watch and support. And track in SA needs support!

and 4 apr GO can't get league points either, good day for an 'out in the sun' day smiley1.gif

Nuwbie, if you wanna do the Heidelberg loop on the 28th I'll do it with you but you got to ride a little slower (so that I can keep up).

Do you know the way ?

Now I know why you are so strong, track riding in the deep south.

If you look carefully on the concrete you'll see bits of my skin from when I was a younger lad. My friends and I used to stuff around at that track.

I know the way yes, I always ride slow compared to most riders I see/come across on the road.

It will be tough , especially that route if its only two of us. You can join me for a ride with the Cyclab Heidelberg club, which would include a part of that route anyway on 28th.

You gave me your averages and they higher than mine but if we both keen you can help each other.

The last time it was S2L & I and I managed so I'm sure I'll manage again.

Let me know if you keen we can schedule a time meeting place if you wanna ride with your club, no stress we'll go the following weekend.

I still don't unnerstand track racing. It's like against the closk, but the dudes sit up there waiting for the frst to break. (Yeah, I know about the drafting / slipping) and usualy the one at the back comes forst, but it's like very foncusing. Specially for a dumbass like me.

So GOv2.0, they gonna let me in with my ride. (NO, I won't embarrass myself or anyone else by trying to put it on the track.) It's just my transport to get there and to leave a bike unattended on the souf is like saying "steal me", even if no self respecting thief wants to be seen riding it.  'sides, I like my old bike.

You saw how fast it goes up those steps. It sure beat that Eddy Mercx ride yesterday and the full carbon job that some other chap was riding.  It's a fast ride dude.smiley2.gif

At what times are you riding ?

I want to see if you've paid attention to all that I have taught you smiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gifsmiley36.gif

Cool, besides we racing this weekend.

See you at the races ??

Tentatively, I will be doing the Heidelberg loop with you guys. If it doesn't conflict with other commitments.

Nuwbie, When kid and I did that loop a few weeks ago, we did the  103 k's at and averae 27.8 k's an hour.

Then I did it with another friend and it was 111 k's at average 28.6 k's and hour.

Not really that fast. I am just an average rider dude. I can manage the short loop at 30 k's an hour average but there are no real hills to speak of and I need a tail wind or group to hide in.smiley2.gif

We'll see how it all pans out.

S2L...your more than welcome to come and park your steed by our car at the track. We always have lots of refreshments in the boot as well, so you can sit and watch the racing with my famdamily.

My dad was commentator there for almost a decade, so he can explain whats happening...and you'll be "in the know"

Kid, best you come along dude...thats the only way you'll be able to see if I have been paying attention! I didnt realise that was your skin embedded along the track?! Dude...impressive! Kudo's!!

I'm not sure of the times that I will be riding to be completely honest. Just come along and have a good laugh.

If your keen to do a long ride round Heidelberg the week after...you can count me in. Its a cool loop, and we can all take a steady ride.
